Beat writer John Glennon won't rule out the Titans selecting Washington QB Jake Locker at No. 8.
He believes they will probably stick with conventional wisdom and select Auburn DT Nick Fairley, whom they've been heavily connected to of late, but also thinks "this might be one of those rare times where positional need might trump pure player value." Interestingly, ESPN's Adam Schefter is reporting he believes Blaine Gabbert will still be available at No. 8. If that's the case, you can expect the Titans to think long and hard about taking him.

I'd be shocked if the Titans reached so much to take Locker at #8. At the very least trade down for him, don't select him that high. That being said, id Gabbert is there and they are for sure wanting a QB, then he's the guy to take there. Don't reach on Locker though, just reading this surprised me.
Thoughts?
