You just have to be smart enough to execute it properly

“Whether we lose two or three games in a row, or there’s a game where my statistical output isn’t necessarily what it should be, people are always going to talk,” said Love. “Since I was traded to Cleveland this summer, I’ve said since Day 1 that I’m a Cleveland Cavalier long term and I plan for it to be that way. I want to grow with this team. There’s a lot of guys with a lot of unique talent, one-through-fifteen, on our roster who are going to be here for a long time. If I could end all the speculation now, I would. But people are going to continue to talk no matter what. I just want to continue getting better with this team long term. I’m a Cleveland Cavalier.”

He just says that because he knows LBJ doesn't have the balls to leave again.

Lakers are 1-13 vs the west and 4-0 vs the fucking east lmao

Im tellin you realignment is definitely on Silvers mind

Either conference realgning or overall playoff seeds instead of conferences or getting rid of divisions all together

I think bware has a little bit of a point, but I don't think we have the same rationale. I think it's fine to take mid range jumpers in the flow of the offense, because if you're focusing solely on 3PT or at the rim, you're probably more likely to end up taking a highly contested shot. Really, it depends on the personnel. I definitely wouldn't want my team among the league leaders in mid range attempts though, unless I had Dirk or Aldridge.

I mostly agree with you, but there are a handful of players, mostly 4s, that I'd add to that list. Ibaka would be the most notable addition, along with the aforementioned Pau and ZBo, and there are a few more players who can definitely should great percentages in the mid range as a part of the offense. Overall, I just think it's foolhardy to not coach players to shoot mid range at lower levels, as some players simply can't hit from 19+ Bring their range in a bit. It's a part of the game that shouldn't disappear among all 5 players.

If that makes sense at all. The NBA isn't the problem with the mid range game disappearing. It's at the lower levels. Even in high school every kid lines up at the three point line, even if most of them are an awful brick waiting to happen.

Zach Randolph isn't that good of a mid-range shooter..

Cuban's idea for realignment is to transfer a great team from the East, and a team who is boarderline elite when Paul George is healthy?

the teams he picked aren't really in the "east" anyways.

Houston's starting lineup tonight:

Dontas Montiejunas
Tarik Black
Trevor Ariza
Jason Terry
James Harden

and Joey Dorsey and Nick Johnson are the first two off the bench

Not a misprint
