Anyone who enjoys watching great defense in basketball is a sadist

Good offense is great when it's GSW style offense. Other than that, give me great defense.

I like when good defense goes against a good offense. When a defense looks good because they are facing a bad offense, that's no good.

I like how the Spurs play offense.

Im not big on superlatives, but I just thought that Spurs offense in the finals was one of the greatest displays of teamwork and cohesiveness I have ever seen.

At worst tonight is a great learning experience for the players and a great evaluation opportunity for Dell and company. You want to know the weaknesses of your team? Face Pop in a game you have to win.

They were efficient, that team lost it all when they made that move for Jeff Green. They would be 9th at 1.081 pts per possession if you took what they were doing before the trade into account. Since then? 1.027 per since then.
i saw stats about the celtics, and it involved the celtics this year without Rondo, without Green, with both, and without both. And the two worst in terms of efficiency, were the ones with Jeff Green. He's a good player, but teams seem to play better without him. Seems strange to me

If the pelicans win will anyone on this board admit that Monty isn't a terrible coach

I'm neutral towards him. I don't think he's great and I don't think he's bad. He's had average talent for the longest (minus AD) and the team always had injuries, now everything is coming together.

This ESPN Gamecast is pretty funny. If you don't look at it for a while, when you go back to it, it updates all the shots at the same time so you see like 35 basketballs flying at the hoop

Shumpert misses more dunks than Curry misses three pointers

Come on, New Orleans. 4 missed bunnies in a row, two by Tyreke, and two by Davis. this is crazy.
