Why is Donaldson only getting a 2 year deal?

It was to avoid arbitration. I don't really know what it means at all, but I'm assuming it has to something to do with like preventing "unrestricted free agency" like thing how it is in the NBA, maybe? I could be totally wrong, I don't know some things about baseball and this is one thing I have never understood

I look for the Yankees to solidify the pitching rotation!

#1 goal- Nobody gets hurt
#2- Baez shows an improved approach at the plate
#3- Schwarber and Soler show vast improvements defensively in the OF
#4- Hammel rebounds from a rough 2nd half last year and fills in very nicely as the #5 starter
#5- Bullpen spots are solidified

For the Tigers I'll be watching to see how JaCoby Jones looks, since after spring training ends he's suspended for 50 games ("drug of choice" violation, not PEDs)
