A Yahoo! Sports report cited a source close to Royals pitcher Zack Greinke, claiming the right-hander is open to pitching for the Yankees because they are a winning team.

However, a source told the Boston's Globe Nick Cafardo that there is no way Greinke lands with the Yankees.

"My Zack Greinke source indicates there's no way he'd play in New York," Cafardo wrote on his Twitter page.

Greinke has an extensive no-trade clause.

If he did get traded to the Yankees first few losses he has he is going to have a mental breakdown. Dude wouldnt do good on a big market team like the yankees to much pressure on him.

I wouldn't want him in NY, he would make it hell for Red Sox hitters as long as he isn't affected by mental issues.

Personally, I hope he stays in Kansas.
