PredsNHL Nashville Predators-
The #Preds sign Pekka Rinne to 7-year, $49 million contract, largest in franchise history. Details, analysis: bit.ly/s76A7z 6 minutes ago
I can see them re-signing Suter and moving Weber. He simply will want too much.

goalies are unpredictable sometimes, so that is too much IMO, but if he stays as good as last season or better, ill be happy with it.

Also Weber is captain and takes priority over suter, however he will ask for a lot. And suter could go for decent future or something less expensive. Gonna be interesting to see what happens now. But non the less im glad they locked up Rinne.

Weber (7.85 mill) or Suter (4.5 mill) will be gone by the trade deadline anyway, they might aswell have locked him up for as little as they could (although i think they couldve gone a bit lower.)

It is a lot of money and im not too happy with it, but you gotta do what you gotta do to lock up an elite goalie like Rinne

Pekka won't be as good without those 2. That contract might end up biting them in the ass.

Ya im praying it wont haha, im being an optimistic preds fan lol

But Weber will hopefully stay, then tnhey can bring Ellis up, and either him or Blum can play with Weber. Cus suter is good as gone.

Nashville wont get rid of both..... (HOPEFULLY)
