lighting basically means that you focus on the main focal point (usually the player) using light, maybe a soft brush or bright stock of some sort. I usually burn the edges of the sig. I can tell you are somewhat new to this, but the background contrasts waaaay to much with the render. Having a mostly black BG with a white render is somewhat gutsy, but doesn't pay off here. Also move the text closer to JStew.

And Yes Im Somewhat New To Sigs. Covermaking Is My Strong Point So I Do Have Some Experience With Photoshop.

I Used A Diffrent Render, Moved The Text, Burned Around The Render, And Made Him More Of The Focal

you got to learn blending techniques
render needs to be blended to the BG.
but at the same time, you need a new BG. too ugly

dude thats actually a lot better, but yeah, its too monotone in the BG and kinda sharp. Try starting the BG again, but keep it dark, looks good so far man
