Sergio Rodriguez's agent Jose Ortiz has told the Spanish Marca.com that he would like to see his client traded out of Portland.

Ortiz said that Rodriguez has never received the quantity of minutes he believes he deserves. Last season he played behind Jarrett Jack and Steve Blake, and this season he is behind Blake and rookie Jerryd Bayless.

Have should take interest in him. We have no back-up PG. JJB is cute and all, but he isn't back-up worthy just yet. He's more of a slasher and scorer, we need someone on the 2nd unit who is a good passer and that's what Sergio would do. I wonder what the Blazers would want for him

Sergio has the potential to be a starter in this league.
He might be just like a Udrith... When he comes out be ready.
BTW Dallas be a nice fit. Same with SA now since TP is down.

He don't really play behind Bayless, Bayless don't even play.

"Spanish Chocolate" is a good player, he could be a starter in this league for sure, maybe even a standout player. He just needs consistant starter minutes. Personally, if I were the Blazers, I would start him over Blake and allow him to gain experience and grow with the team.

Maybe a potential suitor is Memphis?

Outlaw, Rodriguez

for

Conley type of deal?

Maybe

Outlaw, Rodriguez, LaFrentz, Future 1st,

for Conley and Antoine Walker.

No <Censored>.
I think POR could use a good outside shooter...
Not saying 'toine is anything anymore but he could find minutes.
I believe MEM would like to add LaFrentz expiring contract tho.
Think Conley and Bayless as there 1-2 punch.

Kinda like the Ford-Calderon punch Toronto had last year.,

Memphis wont move conley
Thats true but IDB anyone is safe in MEMPHIS.
All they care about is cleaning there books.
Yes, Conley is good but Lowry and Crittenton still have out performed him.
Lets say shedding 12 mill and aquiring a first for Conley is better than having that glut.
Plus it adds another big at PF.

Also lets them play with OJ and possibly Travis...

PG - OJ Mayo
SG - Rudy Gay
SF - Travis Outlaw

Yeah, they are higher on Critt and Lowry than Conley...

I think Rodriguez would thrive in New York. Their system would be perfect for him. I don't think Duhon is good enough to be a starter, and I think the best role for Robinson would be coming off the bench.

I honestly see my deal as a plausible thing...
IDK if they'd add Sergio or even try to use him with Lowry...
He be a nice trading piece at the trade deadline though.

Speaking of Crittenton...
Orlando has a disgruntle guy named Brian Cook...
Guess they may swap and add a first round pick?
Think of that <Censored>...
Dwight and Critt back together...

Would a deal involving Brian Cook work? He's a rich-man's Antoine Walker without the killer ego. Then again, the Grizz already have the Antoine Walker, so they might not be interested. Then again, why should the Magic be? He has not played well when given the opportunity. But 6'05" point guards are hard to come by, and the Magic are desperate for size at the position. (ht: BDL)

Rodriguez's game is made for the uptempo fast break style, thats why Portland should move him since they are more of a 1/2 court team... but we're not going to go after him, Duhon is our PG for the time being...

And as of latley he's been playing well. Alot better then the first few games, hopefully he keeps it up and we keep winning.

He's starting to change my opinion of him...

Duhon has been doing good in the last couple of games.

General manager Kevin Pritchard nixed the idea that Rodriguez would be traded, the Oregonian reports. "We like Sergio, and we are not in any discussions," Pritchard said. "We want to see this team, and we want to see this team grow. It's awfully early to be even talking about this stuff."
