Yankees left-hander CC Sabathia will start against Tigers ace Justin Verlander in Monday night's Game 3 of the ALDS.

Sabathia has an opt-out clause in his contract that could allow him to test the free agent market.

When asked about his options on Sunday, Sabathia said in reference to New York: "I think this is the best place to play baseball."

Yeah but Yankee Stadium isn't really a pitchers park. SO like Rip said, it's the best place to play for the money.

Great pitchers don't care what park they're pitching in.

No fans will love you more if you're playing well. Don't suck for an extended period of time and NY fans will always back you. We always show up to the game.

He's just being a selfish fuck if he's going to opt out just to come back..like how much money do you need. do you really need THAT much food?

But all he does is rave about how much he loves it here, if that's the case he should not be opting out.

years

even if he gets the same annual as he's due to earn for the rest of his original deal, he just wants more years

it's a no brainer
he's not leaving

They shouldn't have given him the opt out clause.

Can't get any simpler than that. Bro's just playing chess while the Yankees are playing checkers.
