I like the bg but you should have put the render more central.

contrast is a bit off on this .. gives it a cloudy feel.
try playing with it some to bring out the darks more - will help with depth
lighting behind AP is off, too. try to focus the lighting on a focal point - for instance, he's looking up and to the right - that would be ideal spot for it to lean towards, so maybe a bright spot on his right shoulder
