Halladay is a great pitcher, but the stats don't lie. Jiminez right now blows everyone away.
Lol, I love that feeling. That was literally the thought I would have on my mind when Halladay was pitching. It's a shame we never got to the playoffs with him, but he was a loyal pitcher. Can't blame him for going to Philli. I hope he returns though in the late years of his career.i miss halladay so much, it was like almost everytime he pitched you knew he would pitch like 8 innings and get a win
Still pretty early in the season. One bad game would make that era a lot higher. Not when you have the stats that Jimenez has lol.
9-1, .88 ERA, that is just crazy.
I remember how we nailed him for 6 HR's in 2 games last year, so slow it down a bit tiger.Doc never has an off game. NEVER. You could expect a win every game with him on the mound. I love the feeling as a Jay fan when he was pitching, we knew that this should be an easy win. He dominated the AL East.
I also remember him dominating you for another 3 or 4....selective memory?I remember how we nailed him for 6 HR's in 2 games last year, so slow it down a bit tiger.
The post I quoted stated that "Doc never has an off game. NEVER". So giving up six homers in two games combined is "never having an off game."? Reading before responding: a key fundamental to not making a blind post like that.I also remember him dominating you for another 3 or 4....selective memory?
heh, pot calling the kettle black? The post I quoted stated that "Doc never has an off game. NEVER". So giving up six homers in two games combined is "never having an off game."? Reading before responding: a key fundamental to not making a blind post like that.
Barely lol. Would still be below 2. Just like Doc.Still pretty early in the season. One bad game would make that era a lot higher.
Couldn't have happened to a better guy
http://sports.espn.go.com/mlb/news/story?id=5236340MIAMI -- Here's a chance to buy tickets to a guaranteed perfect game -- the one Roy Halladay already threw.
The Florida Marlins will begin selling on Tuesday unused tickets to the game in which the Philadelphia Phillies ace pitched the 20th perfect game in major league history, a 1-0 victory over the Marlins on Saturday.
All tickets will be regularly priced at "face value" and on sale both online and through the Marlins' box office.
Paid attendance that night was about 25,000, a relatively large crowd for a Marlins' home game. By comparison, Florida drew a paid crowd of 10,115 -- its smallest of the season -- for Monday's game against Milwaukee.
Yeah I saw it on espn and I was like wow the marlins must be desperate with money.Marlins!
