The colouring on the render and the texture use is a bit off.

Don't mind the bg.

Darken the edges or light up the render to increase focal.

Text is nice but too sharp.

I agree I was trying to brighten it up maybe I went a little overboard.

Not sure what you mean by darken the edges? I looked in GIMP and couldn't find anything along those lines?

Thanks man I have been trying new stuff like how this one came out. Not perfect, but much better than I used to put out.

You can darken the edges rather simply by putting a black fill layer over the top and erasing everything but the edges with a soft eraser.
