The Eagles are now targeting an impact player or two rather than draft picks in exchange for Kevin Kolb, according to ESPN's Sal Paolantonio.
Sal Pal's scoop fits a recent Yahoo Sports' report that the Eagles will aggressively pursue veteran players to help them reach the Super Bowl this year. It also appears to be the driving force behind the increased speculation that the Cardinals could part with Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie in a Kolb trade. The Eagles want their compensation to help now rather than later.

I have to agree..

He's a decent enough second corner but he's mightily blown up by the media and he's overrated. The QB position will always be in demand because a very good signal caller is tough to find. Like said, this draft was a prime example. The need in the NFL was greater than the talent pool that was produced in this '11 class. That's why you see guys like Ponder, Locker, etc. sky rocketing and going higher than they should have definitely.

Also, if they trade away DRC.. then it made drafting Peterson stupid.

They drafted Peterson because they have no #2 CB.. Trading DRC means they have no #2 corner again.

As of right now, Kevin Kolb is a bust. You could say he got derailed by that concussion last year when he started, but had he played better, he more than likely could have regained the starting role. He's busted so far. There's no way you trade your up-and-coming corner for a QB who WE DON'T EVEN KNOW is any good.

Kinda hard to be a bust whenever you sit behind McNabb and Vick and also Injuries was the reason he sat behind Vick.

i don't really care for DRC or the eagles, but this isn't really a good idea for Zona, as said before, who replaces DRC in Arizona? Peterson becomes the lone man. smh
