Brandon Webb hasn't pitched in a big-league game since April 2009 when he took the mound on Opening Day for the Arizona Diamondbacks against the Colorado Rockies. He went four innings before he had to come out and then got put on the disabled list for shoulder trouble. He stayed there till his time in Arizona came to its end last month.
Now Webb, a three-time All-Star and a Cy Young winner in 2006, is a free agent and a slew of teams are considering taking a chance on the mending hurler.

The Denver Post reports that the Rockies would like to add the 31-year-old with the career 87-62 record and 1,065 strikeouts to its roster. Others supposedly in the hunt for Webb's services include the Chicago Cubs, Pittsburgh Pirates, Minnesota Twins, Texas Rangers, and Washington Nationals.

Very interesting to say the least.... I would love to have Webb on the Mets. You just cant have enough depth in the rotation, pitchers get injured a lot and you need some insurance. Although Webb isnt the insurance one would hope to obtain, he is a low risk/high reward type of pitcher who a change of scenery might be the best thing for him and maybe a new pitching coach with a different approach.

Tigers should take a number lol. Better than what we will shell out there on the 4th and 5th days lol. Could potentially be a huge reward like you said.

this is all Dodgers

Rockies rotation right now sucks. Ubaldo and Chacin is it. De la Rosa is coming back, but he's meh
Giants won with pitching
and the Dodgers loaded up their roto too

Rockies need to do whatever it takes to stay competitive with the Giants and Dodgers

I'd like to see him going to the Tigers. I've always liked Brandon Webb. Even though he hasn't played for awhile, and would be a huge risk/reward ordeal.
