Step 1 - Go on Photoshop, get the pictures you want to be rotating, and open them all in new documents. Make them all the same size, and if you're adding borders add them on all.

Step 2 - Open up ImageReady, and make a new document the size of the avatar you're making. Let's say 100x100.

Step 3 - Get the Animation window opened if it's not already. If it is, it's kind of in the bottom. If it's not go to Window > Animation.

Step 4 - Right click on the layer, and set it as Do Not Dispose. Duplicate the frames on the animation windows the same amount of frames as the amount of pics you want rotating. You do so by a little button icon that's right next to the trash can, on the animation window. Don't change anything on the layers yet though, like time and stuff. You do that later.

Step 5 - Copy and Paste all the images you're gonna put in it, that you just adjusted in Photoshop. Then just go clicking on the little eyes next to the layers to make them not show, until you get each frame showing the pic you want it to. It get's a little messed up depending on the way you go, but even if you struggle a bit, get the frames to show each pic the way you want it to.

Step 6 - Ok. If you press play you have the images going by really quick right now. If you don't want fades, you just click on the little arrow next to 0 sec. and adjust the time of each frame the way you want it. I think withouth fade looks a bit bad though. If you don't think so, you're done, if not, don't change the times and stuff yet, and keep reading along.

Step 7 - Left to the New Frame button, theres these diagonal balls, it's called the tween button. Click on it. Select Next Frame on the tween with thing. Now it has the frames to add box, so you type in how many you want. Like, 10 or 5 is good enough depending on what you want. The more frames, the slower the fade will be, the less frames, the quicker. Make sure all the parameters (Position, opacity, effects) boxes are ticked on.

Step 8 - Repeat that to every frame. You should use the same settings to each. Like, on the last frame, you should select First Frame in the Tween with thing. Now you can adjust the time for each SOLID layer, like, make it last longer than the fading ones. You have to look into them and find the one that is the solid one, not the FADINGS to change the time, to like, 3-5 seconds or whatever you want it.

Step 9 - File > Save optmized as, save it it, you're done.
