If the city of Glendale cannot sell the necessary amount of bonds to help Chicago businessman Matthew Hulsizer purchase the Coyotes, they've come to the realization that the team will move.
As a result, Mayor Elaine Scruggs indicated that the team could pursue a minor league team to replace the Coyotes in Jobing.com Arena.

"We need guidance on this because we could be dealing with this in just a couple of weeks," Mayor Scruggs told the Glendale Daily News-Sun. "I cannot be more serious. We'd need to find a way to cut expenses or raise revenue."
Mayor Scruggs is convinced the Coyotes will move this summer if Hulsizer cannot purchase the club.

"The team will leave for Canada," she said. "We can argue forever, but it is what it is. This is how things are done in the bond market."
