According to Woj, the NBA and NBAPA have made "significant progress" and are highly optimistic that a new deal could be completed within the next several weeks ahead of the 12/15 opt-out deadline. Supposedly, only a few minor parts of the CBA need to be ironed out.
If true, this is very interesting and surprising. I am wondering what clauses were put in that led both sides to come this type of agreement so soon. I was certain we were going to have a work stoppage.
