pen tool problem

when ever I make a selection after I've make a path, the selection selects the outside rather than the inside

I keep turning the anti-aliased on and off but that doesn't do anything

You got switch up the little icons on the right end of the pen tool "toolbar". I think its "Add path to area (+)" is what your looking for.

Alright. Well at least this thread will help anyone else who runs into the same problem.
