I'm intrigued by this signing. If he has anything left in the tank (I realize that's a pretty big if), could definitely contribute for the Orioles in 2014. Still building arm strength, but if he can throw at least in the upper 80's, wouldn't be surprised at all to see him get some starts.

Probably won't be in the rotation. Orioles apparently see him as more of a reliever. Though I imagine they will at least try him as a starter in the minors. Though he did only throw 81 MPH at his workout, scouts raved about his changeup and he's still building up arm strength.

Like Baltimore said, low risk high reward. Might take a while for him to recover if ever though.

Not a bad signing, but i like the timing. Hes still rehabbing and is probably at least 2 months away, if not more, so get him with ur trainers and doctors and w/e.
