he cant be a contender but he can still fight if he gets a fight. id put him and reem against each other and hope they take it serious.

mir is like chael though. both could have a fantastic life outside of mma because theyre great commentators.

thiago always had a hard time making weight but hes looked so out of shape his past two fights and tonight takes the cake. he and hammel looked dead in the second and third.

i wish thiago got him down on leg kicks tho

I wasn't too excited to see Shields v Maia anyway, two crappy strikers, it was destined for a grappling match. Although I've heard that it wasn't THAT bad, but still not a great fight if you're not a Jiu-Jitsu lover.
