Looking to buy tickets to UFC 101 in Philly and cheapest seats are $185 per.

Not sure if I should pull the trigger on tickets...being that I would most likely spend more for better.

I seen the new preview for TUF 10, man I can't wait! They showed a quick clip of Kimbo fight, he looked like he was crushing some dude.

Kimbo is going to lose. Trust me. Some of these guys are huge.

And Kimbo is small? Kimbo's huge too, and if he gets the right staff in his corner he can be an effective heavyweight.

Kimbo still has a lot to go before he's really any good but I give a lot of props to him. He could've made a bunch of money elsewhere but he took up Dana's challenge at the risk of losing all of his promotional value.

I'll give Kimbo some credit for opting to prove himself through TUF. After EliteXC closed down, the guy could of signed with another smaller promotion but opted to shoot for the best instead. Not only will Kimbo make the show better this season but he could better his own game at the same time.

I'll be honest, I am highly anticipating this season b/c of him more than anything.

I read that they'll likely have him sit until he absolutely needs to fight, this show is projected to have the best ratings out of any other season - mainly due to Kimbo.

I really do believe he'll do good as long as he keeps his mind straight and trains hard. He can be a good fighter, he just needs to focus on expanding his fighting.

yeah - I read somewhere that he's gonna be picked to fight at the end of the show so he can get the proper training -- plus, push the ratings along.
Dana knows how to definitely get the ratings

Cheick Kongo is forced out of his fight vs. Roy Nelson due to a back injury. Reports today that UFC 117 will feature: Chael Sonnen vs. Anderson Silva & Roy Nelson vs. Junior dos Santos.

UFC releases Gabriel Gonzaga following his loss to Brendan Schaub. (LINIK)

Gonzaga was never able to live up to the hype after he KO'd Mirkko Cro Cop at UFC 70. One of the most inconsistent heavyweights in recent years. I wonder if Strikeforce has picked up the phone, they really need to add another notable heavyweight fighter. Gonzaga vs. Brett Rogers would be a great redemption fight for both.

Late on this.. But

Gonzaga was an animal. He had all the physical tools. No chin though.

Brandon Vera released by the UFC, following his 125 loss to Thiago Silva. Vera's nose was knocked sideways in the bout, he was very cheerful after the bout was over, shrugged it off...I bet he didn't think he'd be cut after. This is a little overdo tho. Vera was widely regarded as "the next big thing", started his career off 8-0. Lost to Sylvia at 77 and then completely tanked from there; went 3-6 since 2007...and those wins weren't against great opponents either.
