For some reason when I clicked on this topic on mobile, it sent me back to Sept 2012

Nothing better than BC only loving Bridgewater because he's "duel threat". Also was slobbering over Geno lol

I guess Saban is the unquestioned GOAT now.

I do wonder how good of an actual coach he is, though.  He can just about hand pick any high school prospect in the nation every single year, which has led him to fielding the vastly superior team on a weekly basis.  Since he's been at Bammer, at least.

I'm not going to take any credit away from him because he's a winner, but I do wonder how well he'd do at a program like Northwestern or Stanford, where being an elite recruiter will only take you so far.

Mark Ingram
Trent Richardson
Eddie Lacy
TJ Yeldon
Derrick Henry

Then fucking Bo Scarbrough takes over next year.  Goddamn RB factory.

They could put their punter at QB and still win the SEC.  They have so much talent everywhere.

Calvin Ridley is going to be a star.

Urban Meyer the goat. He flipped two of Maryland's best recruits last week, one being a highly ranked QB.

Just checked what games I might be able to catch when I'm over there in September... was hoping Stanford would be at home.

Utah State @ USC
UNLV @ UCLA

Or may be able to catch Cal @ SD State if I decide to go south...

Which would you pick?

UCLA to see the Rose Bowl and Rosen.

Yeah, I'm torn between catching Rosen as the star guy, or USC who have a number of rising stars (Smith, Gustin, RJII).

Love the documentary on the 2006 Championship game at the Rose Bowl though, so it'd be really cool to visit there.

Don't really know how the atmospheres compare.

Canes photoshopping images from Dolphins' games for use in promotions. The U doesn't come close to filling the lower bowl, much less the upper.

Do the dolphins even fill the stadium?

Most of the time. I went to their training camp once and it was pretty packed. Fins fans are pretty delusional.

It's just a shitty experience for a college game.

The stadium is an hour away from Coral Gables, and casual fans don't want to watch Miami play Florida Atlantic on a Saturday afternoon when they could be looking at tits on south beach.

College atmospheres just don't really exist at pro stadiums.

I can agree with most of this. The exception is rivalry games played at NFL stadiums.
