Are they the empty-backfield, throw-first, run-later team that moved the ball smartly down the field in the opening drive against the Raiders last week?

Or are they the team that soon thereafter abandoned that approach and spent much of the rest of the game ringing up 242 yards rushing, including 159 yards by Thomas Jones?

Are they the pass-happy, deep-throwing bunch that hung 56 points on the Cardinals in Week 4? Or are they the pitch-and-catch, controlled unit that beat the Bengals the next Sunday?

Hopefully they get an identity these enxt few weeks, because this is big, after the KC game.

They gotta find a way to balance it right. The play calling has been either too aggressive or too conservative depending on what game you're talking about.
