Or should I say the Minor League NFL

http://www.unflf.com/

According to their mission, the United NAtional Football League (UNFL) want some DII or lower level college football players on the NFL. And one more thing:

Tell me those aren't rip-offs of some NFL logos (color or logo design wise, or both). I almost cried looking at those logos, and I was laughing so much at those logos.

Hardly, the AAFL has a shot at surviving while this league looks like something out of a video game. The AAFL is back by 6 major NCAA universities, they are promising professional game play, they will feature some former NCAA D1 stars, and they already have deals with corporate sponsors. This UNFL...or whatever is targeting DII and below stars, is promoting itself and a developmental league, is not backed by any corporate sponsor, and will never make it's way onto TV.

The logos look like they made them from Madden.

Looks liek all but 18 and 21 are total ripoffs.

But who cares, NFL teams change their logos all the time. If its slightly altered it's legit.

This league should just combine with the AAFL, double their chances of actually making it past season 1, and plus they are both trying to do about the same thing.

XFL was funny, still remember that guy who had HE HATE ME on the back of his jersey.

But Slamball was the best sport that died out.

This league is more Bush-League than the AFL2. Looking their website more up and down, here's some interesting items of note:

- You can contact their co-Founder directly via telephone: 877-349-1852 x715
Shall I give him a call? I would do it, seriously.

- Though I can probably guess, they have not announced specifically which cities each team is based in. This is odd that they would have logos, most logos imply which city (i.e. orange dog = cleveland), but why have they no specific references to the cities?

- This league currently has no owners of any franchise. Want to be an owner? Call that number listed above.

- They have no Commissioner or front office staff in place at this time.

Overall...this league sounds like the idea of a couple guys that had some start-up money. I seriously doubt people will come out to Division II and III stadiums to watch some of the true "unknowns" in College Football play for these "Minor League" developmental teams. With that being said, where do they think any revenue will come from? Like I said before, I'll give the AAFL a shot at survival with their business plan and player salaries of $50K per year. This League may never ever see one game but hey...I cannot wait to see what their uniform designs look like.

I remember that guy that QB that played at Cal, Pat barnes. I like Corey Ivy from the Chicago Enforcers, he's on my Madden sim league team. I believe he plays on the Ravens.
