The Brooklyn Nets have interest in trading for Jarrett Jack.

Jack signed a multi-year deal with the Cleveland Cavaliers in the offseason.

A source says the Nets could send Jason Terry to the Cavaliers for Jack.

Lolwut. It was a bad contract but it was only two years.

Jack's an upgrade from Terry. Not to mention Mike Brown has fucked Jack this year with his horrendous offensive sets

It was 4 years, 25 million.

And the Nets aren't going anywhere with Terry or Jack. Instead they are just going to add more to their cap.

Neither is anyone outside of the Heat or Pacers in the east.

And if you haven't noticed, the Nets give ZERO shits about the cap.

This team is about now so 4 years or 2 doesn't really matter. There's only two players left on this team from two years ago: dwill and brook. I expect heavy changes every season until we can finally buy ourselves a ring.

I understand that, but the current roster they have now isn't going anywhere. That whole team needs to be blown up really, and trading for Jack isn't going to help them blow things up. And Jack isn't really that good of a player to want to have on your team during a rebuild.

Rebuild with what?? We already traded away our future assets lol.

It's really now or never so trading a bum like Terry for a better player in Jack just makes sense

I think it would be different if they were a team that was close to competing with Miami or Indiana, but they aren't.

Jack is much more attractive than JET in a trade

I still don't think the Jack contract is bad tbh. Just think he's in a shitty situation.

What would be different? The fuck does this even mean?

Either way the plan is to go all out these next two years before KG and PP retire.

That's not going to change whether we have Terry or Jack

All I'm saying is the Nets have pretty much no shot to wing a ring the next couple of seasons, so adding a longer contract doesn't really make sense to me.

I know they don't care about money, so I guess it is just an irrelevant deal overall.

Last year of Jack's contract isn't fully guaranteed.

Dude's garbage though. I'd take any deal that involves him leaving.

I could careless about Terry. I don't consider him an upgrade. 1 less year on his contract is what I'll take.

I was bout to say I don't think Terry would play anyway, but he's a veteran, and Mike Brown is so against starting Dion Waiters, so I'm 100% sure Terry would start. And I'd gauge my eyes out.
