I'm stuck, should I start over what should/could I add?

At the moment it just looks like a photo with no effects. I would say start over, or start to play around with fliters, gradient maps and pattern fills with masking.

Problem is, it has a black bg so nothing really shows up too good. I think I might just scrap it and start over.
