It's a branding of a certain NBA player, first one to figure it out gets an uptoke. Subsequently, what do you think of it?

Still needs some fine tuning in terms of stroke width and spacing, but essentially the idea is E,B and 2 in one logo.
Personally I feel like the biggest problem is the E, in that you wanna see it the normal way around, when it's supposed to be a mirrored E

I initially thought Elton Brand, but then I figured nobody would ever waste time on an Elton Brand grafix.

Elton Branding would have been funny tho

Hm yeah, that's a good point. Does look too much like a 3.

I instantly thought Bledsoe so nice start. PHX colors would help that too.

Cool start, breh! Collab, or nah? I got a cool idea for this that piggy backs on yours.

Alright, considering it looks like the Bugatti logo and the fact that a backwards E is gonna look like a 3 to half of the people I decided to go a little more conservative route.

amb, you got any way to chat?

It's better but still I'm not sure I'd know what it was if I weren't analyzing it

The 2 // B is not the most clear. To the average person I'm not sure they get it

Don't change from your initial idea! Most people got the concept.

The problem I see, is that you are mixing styles a bit on the letters.
The E is very hard edges and lines. All straight.
The B is soft and flowing. All curves.

The reason you should not change from your initial concept, is that the E and B share the long "backside" of each letter.
Lean them together, use the "backside" of the characters as your backbone. (More then you did in the first idea). Keep the B "backside/backbone" straight, no cuts.

Then, play around with:
Making the E softer by curving the edging lines + widen the mid line at the end.
AND/OR
Making the B harder in the shape.

(MY guess = Softening the E would make the whole concept unite in a nice way)
