Portland has fired coach Nate McMillan, league source tells Y! Sports.

Officially in tank mode. Can't say I'm disappointed, Nate was a good coach but he's terrible with in game adjustments, plus he lost this team so it had to be done.

Yeah I try not to think about it. At least we have a good offseason to look forward to. 2 lottery picks, new coach, new GM, and lots of cap space.

Nate is a good coach. Sad to see him fired. He will be back.

I agree, Nate will end up being a coach somewhere for sure (possibly an assistant) but will be a head coach again someday. However, I think it was time since the team completely fell apart and might as well start the rebuilding process from the beginning.
