ESPN's Adam Schefter and Chris Mortensen revealed Murray's potential deal with the Eagles is expected to be five years, $42 million with $21 million guaranteed. Schefter also noted, "$18 million for skill and injury. Murray got what Dallas did not expect."

According to NFL Network's Albert Breer, the two sides "have a financial agreement in place, per source. So the visit is what's left."

Dallas fans should want Jerry's head on a stick, at this point. They haven't retained any defensive playmakers, either. They've let go of their best linebacker in Carter. Dwayne Harris may not have been a huge impact player but he was a special teams stud and a trustworthy returner--those aren't easy to find.

This is just another nail in the "Dallas is run very very poorly" coffin. Murray's going to trounce them twice next year. They might win those games because Philly isn't very good, but Murray's going to run all over them.

Also, fuck Dez. He could have done a Randall Cobb and offered something of a discount.

Dez is much better than Cobb

Cobb isn't a Top 10 WR, Dez is a Top 3

Does not matter. He doesn't need absurd money without any real thought of what's best for the team.

Tony Romo has a cap hit of 27 million this year. You gonna blast him too for not putting the team above himself?

Paying Murray that much would be a bad move long term for the Cowboys. We should be praising Jerry for changing his ways.

Bruce carter was not the best Cowboys linebacker, he is/was behind a healthy Sean lee and McLain

And you have no idea what the DEZ discussion were like so how can you speculate he wasn't giving them a hometown discount.
