we had a bigger turnaround, with a significantly less established coach (Francona averages 92.89 wins per season as a head coach since taking over Boston in 2004, Farrell averaged 77 wins with Toronto), and we won the World Series, while you couldn't beat the play-in Wild Card at home, after that team had their first rest following 11 straight days of baseball.

Career win totals have absolutely nothing to do with this award as well. It's who did the superior managing job this year

Kinda funny so many people haven't heard of him, I guess because he's on Seattle. I'm fine with whoever wins it be it Darvish, Iwakuma or Scherzer. All deserving.
