^^^THIS^^^.

Only in the NFL, a convicted dog-killing felon can tun into an MVP candidate/over-hyped darling.

Convick doesn't pull that off without a lot of help from the Giants.

We played 52 minutes on Sunday. If we played all 60, we win by 28 points.

We laid out the blueprint on how to shut Vick and co down (the Bears led off our example), then we went away from it and got burned.

Watching Convick choke in the playoffs will be priceless.
why talk about dog-fighting? What does that have to do with anything? You're ridiculous....SMH
I guess haters gon' hate...

You can't use Vick missing 3 games for Vick, that's a double-edged sword. I could say right back that as Vick has continued to play, he has thrown more interceptions (didn't throw ANY until the Bears game). And thus, he would have even more now than he does. Don't get me wrong, Vick has had a great year, highlighted by the Giants game last week. But Brady is without a doubt the best player in the league right now, and should be rewarded so. He's playing a way he hasn't since 2007 (50 TD 8 INT), and he's doing it with far less weapons than A) He had in 2007 B) Vick has now.

On the Eagles you have arguably THE most explosive (key word) receiver in the NFL, a rising star in Jeremy Maclin, a great possession receiver in Jason Avant, a top 10 TE in Brett Celek, and a very good young RB in LeSean McCoy. Compare that to what Brady as: Wes Welker coming off a knee injury (still very good I know), an aging Deion Branch, two rookie Tight Ends, and his running game features BenJarvus Green-Ellis, and Danny Woodhead. In no position does Brady have the edge over Vick, but yet Brady is making playing the QB position look easy. The Patriots line hasn't even been at full strength all year with Mankins holding out until just recently.

I know Vick has a lot of hype around him with the way he has come back, but don't be fooled. Brady is doing more with less, he is the best QB in the league, playing for the best team in the league - He IS the MVP.
Obviously not a huge thing, but the guy who filled in for Mankins was playing great before he came back. Their line didn't miss a beat without him. Someone on another board even said that he was playing so well that they didn't want Mankins to play over him.

Stop bringing the pathetic fucking Giants into every conversation. They're choking asses don't measure up to this category so...enough.

NFC East

2. Giants

Head 2 Head

11/21 - Eagles 27, Giants 17
12/19 - Eagles 38, Giants 31

And you continue to talk shit!?! You shitty team doesn't hold any weight against the Eagles or Michael Vick. GTFO of the convo TWill.

It's between Vick and Brady, Brady should win, mainly because Vick missed 3 games

First off, nice use of the word "Their".

Second, if people are going to keep talking about Sunday's game to validate Vick's case for MVP, then am I the one bringing the Giants into this topic?

Last but certainly not least:

12/14 - Giants 21, Vikings 3

If the Eagles were to have Kolb start every single game of the season, they would be a 10+ team regardless. If Brian Hoyer were to start, they wouldn't even be close to a 10+ win team. The Eagles have so much talent around Vick and he is producing, like he should be, whereas Brady has a bunch of players that were once considered "nobodies".

Needless to say, Brady is leading the league in TD%, INT%, QB Rating, and Rate+. Sure he might be the most exciting player to watch, but Brady should be the MVP because he is the better player.

Attacking grammar at an internet forum is about as validating as pointing out the poor people in Somalia. Sorry I'm not running spelling & grammar checks before I hit the reply button.

You've got nerve bringing a Vikings, Giants score that I could care less about. Unlike yourself...I don't continue to make countless excuses and homer my hopeless, FAIL team. How about we talk about Vikings, Giants in 2009 and 2008?

Don't get me wrong, Brady is phenomenal this year. The thing is though I think Vick edges him out, and here is why.

1) Vick has played less games, and would put up Brady's passing numbers, or at least close if he played the same amount of games.
2) Brady just sits in the pocket all day with so much time, but Vick doesn't have such a great O Line. He makes them look better than they truly are.
3) Vick can play like Brady, but Brady can't play like Vick. I don't think Brady could have pulled off that comeback against the Giants.
4) Vick can run the football obv.
5) Brady is overrated. Yes I said it, maybe not this year, but in general he is. Look I'm a Michigan dude, and I like Brady. Maybe not in a Patriots uniform, but still. Brady didn't do as great as everyone said he did that first Super Bowl. He gets bailed out by the refs against the Raiders number one. Bledsoe could have won a championship too in those playoffs I think. He defo did well in the AFC Championship. He didn't play that great vs the Ramsv in the Super Bowl, he threw for under 180 yards in that game. That final drive didn't impress me all that much either. He threw a bunch of 3 yard checkdowns and his running backs made all the plays. I don't hold anything against people who throw checkdowns, it's just whenever Brady is throwing downfield needing a TD, he throws a game losing pick. 2005 Divisional game, 2006 Divisional game, and the 2006 AFC Championship is all the proof of it. He had a nice drive in the Super Bowl against the Panthers, I'll give him that. He had a great kicker too, though. Manning had led teams on drives like that, but his team can never complete those type of drives for him. Yet Manning still gets shit talked for being a choker. LETS NOT TURN THIS INTO A MANNING VS BRADY THIS IS A MICHAEL VICK VS BRADY THREAD. The reason I bring this up is some people bring up the OH BRADY HAS 3 RINGS ARGUMENT, and I think that's silly and has nothing to do with this season. Anyway what do you guys think?
Wow...

1) You would never know if Brady could comeback like that or not because he was never in the situation to begin with. Also, there's a reason why people call Brady "Mr. Clutch".

2) Calling Brady overrated based on performances in the past is completely absurd and irrelevant to what he is doing this season. Leading in TD%, INT%, QB Rating, and Rate+ all beg to differ.

I also find it funny that you don't want this thread to turn into a Manning vs Brady thread yet you still bring Manning into the discussion when comparing him to Brady. The post is full bullshit.

This thread has to be a Brady vs. Vick comparison b/c at season's end, this is what the voting will come down to. Aside from the fact that we are currently in the Player Comparison forums.

I brought that in the argument cause people are gonna say something like that. I'm just trying to shut down the argument. I mention that, because I think Brady gets a little too much credit on what he has did. That's just how I feel bro.

What do you mean say something like that? I have not heard one person say "Brady is this season's MVP because he was the Superbowl MVP a few years ago" or something along those lines. You'd have to be an idiot in the first place to judge anyone based on that. Judging on what Brady has done compared to what Vick has done, Brady is the better quarterback.

You're whole argument is laughable because you support it with no stats. Just what you interpret to be true.

I said that, because some people do say dumb shit like that. See what Titan says sometimes. What I mean by Brady can't play like Vick, is that Vick he alone, makes his O Line better. He makes more time scrambling for his receivers to get downfield. He runs past everyone. That is what I mean.

Vick doesn't make his o-line better, he just masks their deficiencies due to his ability to scramble.

Elite is right about the O-Line.

Anyways, after tonight, I think his chances at MVP are gone. And Brady, the rightful winner, will get it.

I think Vick gift wrapped the MVP for TFB last night.

If Vick still gets it, thats okay. The thing I love about Brady is that the MVP and personal awards are nothing to him. He wants rings, anything else is merely a bonus.

I'm going with Brady. MICHIGAN PRIDE!!<3

It's nice to see Vick have a great year like he has had though. He had my vote before the Vikings/Eagles game. You can't lose to a team like that, that you should of beat no problem. Brady on the other hand, he's throwing up insane numbers. Only 4 picks this season, and setting the record for consecutive pass attempts without a pick. Yes, that came with a LOT of dumb luck, but he's done it. He's just doing it like no one else this year. Vick was close, but now it's clearly Brady.

Tom Brady has thrown 4 INTs this year, last since Week 6, vs BAL, where he threw 2. One was a hailmary, which was knocked from TE Aaron Hernanez's hands into S Ken Hamlin. The other one was Brady overthrowing WR Wes Welker, and intercepted by CB Chris Carr.

The other two were @NYJ in Week 2. Both were passes to Randy Moss, who was playing like a lazy ass and did not run his routes at 100%.
One was a deep throw of 50 yards, picked off by Cromartie at the 3. The other was Moss underrunning, and the ball was tipped into S Brodney Pool's hands

Brady has thrown one legitimate INT this year, by overthrowing Welker.

And referring to the OP, "Vick can play like Brady, but Brady can't play like Vick. I don't think Brady could have pulled off that comeback against the Giants"

Many things wrong with that statement.

Brady is 2nd in all active players in career comeback wins, only behind Favre. And PHI would have lost if it werent for Desean's punt return.
And, if Vick can play like Brady, how come he has yet to make it to a Super Bowl, while Brady has made it 4 times. Brady doesnt need to play like Vick. He has a career record of 124-37 in games he's started, which is a 77% winning percentage. Just saying, Joe Montana has a career record of 132-54 in games he's started, which is a 71% winning percentage.
