Memphis Clear Favorite for Stephenson

Memphis is the “clear-cut leader at this point” for Lance Stephenson according to a source close familiar with the situation. Stephenson’s interest in Arizona has dwindled recently, according to the source.

Stephenson, a 6-6 McDonald’s All-American, is the lone player among the ESPN’s Top 100 recruits yet to commit to a college.

Sources confirmed on Wednesday that Maryland will no longer be courting Stephenson.

With Calipari leaving, they need something to vault them back to becoming a relevant school and even thoug Lance has had his share of off the court/ attitude problems, you cant deny this dudes talent.

Calipari would have taken him if there wasnt all that controversy going on in Memphis, and its a given Stephenson would have baggage with him, coming in.

But that would have been the top recruiting class ever, would top the Fab 5 IMO

Sad how he's scared so many teams off, hopefully this will motivate him to play hard every single game, and show them what he missed out on.
