Lions.com - The Lions have announced that running back Jahvid Best is done for the season, having been placed on the injured reserve.

Best has missed the team's last five games since suffering a concussion in the second half of a Week 6 loss to the 49ers.

It was Best's second concussion of the season. He suffered his first in training camp.

Welp it was good while it lasted I guess, still got a small chance but ehh not really.

I personally lost hope.
Not cause of the loss of Best, but just the way things have gone lately.
It was a nice season, and I still hope we make the playoffs for sure, but at this point we made a giant leap from last year, and I really look forward to next season.

Figured as much. Been gone and things didn't sound like they were getting better. I'm not losing hope. There's still a chance, but I wasn't expecting playoffs this year anyways. If it happens great. If not, still been fun watching.
