I do not believe Doug Fister is anywhere near Cy Young material, nowhere near a top of the rotation pitcher, and nowhere consistently above mediocrity.
Please stop reading into my posts and making baseless generalizations.
The whole argument for Fister versus Porcello was to indicate that Fister (in my opinion) is a more reliable pitcher than Porcello, but he's in no way an ace or top of the rotation pitcher. He has shown signs of being an ace in the past, but he has not done so recently with consistency.
Please stop associating me with this made up "gloriness" of Fister. It's not even funny anymore, it's stupid. He's a decent pitcher, has shown some upside, but has been horribly inconsistent. I in no way want words put in my mouth to make it sound like I'm some idiot who thinks he's a pitching God.
Thank you and please let's carry on with reliable and engaging baseball talk.
