What do you feel winning does for the legacies of Lebron James and Stephen Curry? Does this put James in the top 10, top 5 maybe? Does Curry become top 20? Top 5 PG of all time?

I don't know where I have Bron in my top 5, but I do have him ahead of Jordan as an all around player.

As for Curry. He has to do this for at least another 5 years, imo. He's an all-time great over these past two seasons but two seasons is not enough.

On championships--they are vastly overrated. I would argue that LeBron has only lost one championship when he had a superior team (Dallas) but even that championship was Miami's first run and that Dallas team got hot and meshed perfectly as a group. They utilized everybody in their rotation better than Miami utilizied everybody in their rotation. LeBron is the victim of having lesser teams in the Finals several times. There was absolutely no way Cleveland was going to win in his first Finals appearance. There was absolutely no way Cleveland was going to win last year, and with how hot San Antonio was 2 years ago, Miami couldn't even keep up with them.

He should have 3 rings, but then again, if not for a great Ray Allen shot, he has 1. LeBron gets too much unjustified flak. I don't think he'll win this year, either, but if he does he will make his case for best player in NBA history, and keep in mind that we're talking about a player who could potentially lead teams to the Finals 10+ straight times. That is incredible.

This NBA Finals will drastically impact the legacy of the winner. Don't think it will hurt the loser though. Although having a 2-5 record in the NBA Finals with a Ray Allen bailout would be some serious ammo for critics. But I don't think it will change his legacy in the eyes of most people

Lebron is the second best player behind Michael Jordan.  What happens this year has no bearing on that ranking.

I believe that if Lebron wins this championship that puts him in the top 5 of all-time. If Curry wins this championship, I have him in the top 15 of all-time. As for Klay, you could start making a case for top 50 maybe? Kyrie and Kevin still have a ways to go and its still too early.

Definitely not willing to talk about Curry's legacy yet. Way too early in his career

Unless you want to talk about him as just a shooter, in which case I'd argue he's already #1 all time

i think if the warriors win this, and curry were to retire the next day, a case could be made for him in the top 10. as much as i wanna see another player(livy) get the finals mvp, steph needs it. that'll further cement him as a potential top five guy.

No way is Steph a top 10 player if he retired right away

He's incredibly dominant, but he needs more than 2 MVPs and 2 rings to say he's top 10

He'd be the Bo Jackson of the NBA maybe, as the most talented player to cut their career short, but he's nowhere near top 10

Give Steve Nash two rings, where does he rank all time?

Curry already a GOAT shooter but I gotta see him play at a high level for a few more years to call him a GOAT player

LeBron will finish his career top 5 in most playoffs stats but I don't think he'll get a 3rd ring in Cleveland

With 3 rings, 4 MVPs, and 7 straight Finals appearances. I think hes top 5 now. In a way his legacy is cemented with that 3rd ring, not that it wasnt before. But now I think its hard to say hes not top 5 ever.
