The Lakers and 76ers have held discussions involving a swap of Andre Iguodala for Lamar Odom, according to league sources.

The deal would save Philadelphia a significant amount of money, as Odom is entering the final season of his contract while Iguodala is owed a combined $44 million over the next three seasons.

The Lakers would have to include more salary in order for the deal to consummated.

Odom would help the 76ers out, give them some more height. But I'd hate seeing Iggy on the Lakers.

No way Lou Will is gonna be in that. That would be real dumb for the 6ers.

If you are the Lakers, where exactly do you put Iguodala? Do you start him, move Artest to a bench role, and run the risk of his volatile personality being unhappy? He's still. after all, under a near unmoveable contract for the forseeable future. Do you have Andre come off the bench and deal with his scoring inconsistencies in an already vulnerable rotation? Reserve play was one of their biggest weaknesses last season, and Odom just so happened to be their best player.

There are definitely alot of questions that would have to be addressed.

This is a pretty damn big deal. I'd be really shocked if this ends up happening, but dang.. I feel for TYO if this does go down. :/
