Well never mind, still worth it to me, just don't know what the Pistons are doing, although like I said, Smith & Drummond together is pretty scary to go against IMO

I think Smith kind of hit a high point of his career from 09-11 but kind of came down to earth last season. His offensive rebounding dropped off a cliff and his defensive rebounding dipped a little, plus he turned opponents over less last season and turned the ball over more. He's become one of the more lazy players I've seen in the league, spends way too much time walking around and really just looking disinterested. But 12M a season isn't bad. It's overpaying a little bit but he probably wouldn't be a Piston if they didn't overpay a little. The only real concern I would have is that a below average offensive team just took a step backwards, especially if they move Monroe, who IMO is their best offensive player.

Doubt Dumars would pull the tigger on a deal involving Moose.

I think the quality of this signing depends on what yall do with Greg. Defensively he's an good defender at the 3 or 4, but he really doesn't have the offensive ability to play the 3. Atlanta has almost exclusively played him at the 4 the past three seasons, but when they have played him at the three he's been really poor.

I don't know, I'd personally rather Greg over Smith all things considered. What about you?
Greg for me too.
But we have both now, and I'd like to see how things work with the 3 of them. I'm hoping he works on his shooting ala LeBron this offseason. Though unlikely.

While they might start together, there is still plenty minutes to be played in which Josh will be at the 4. Won't be SF all the time. I hope the defense they bring will be able to cancel out any offensive liabilities.

Drummond is gassed after like 3 minutes in 2k, so if that's accurate, Josh might get plenty of minutes at the 4.
