Free agent Josh Howard "could be on the Celtics' radar," according to the Boston Globe.

Howard tore his ACL in February of 2010 and played just 18 games last season. He's not the All-Star he was in 2007 but could provide the Celtics with toughness and capable all-around play off the bench, something they lost when Marquis Daniels suffered his scary spinal injury (and was eventually traded to Sacramento).

I think he'd be an excellent fit for the Celtics. He's still got a couple good years left in him, and he's got a solid offensive game as well as solid defense. He'd fit well with the veterans there. I'd like it for both sides.
