Jerry Hughes Arrested

Colts DE Jerry Hughes was arrested on suspicion of public intoxication near a Dallas nightclub.
In the scheme of the things, this is hardly a major infraction. Hughes and former Cowboys linebacker Stephen Hodge were involved a disturbance that started in the nightclub and spilled out onto the sidewalk. The 2010 first-rounder shouldn't face a league suspension for the incident.

The guy better get his head on right and make smarter decisions but in the grand scheme of things this is nothing. I just hope that he can make more of an impact on the defensive side of the football for us this upcoming year.

Jerry Hughes hasn't made any plays. He hasn't. I'm not going to sit here and defend what he has done and try and say he's made an impact to the Colts team when he really he didn't contribute. With that being said though, it was known that he wasn't going to step in and make a ton of plays even early due to the fact the Colts have some pretty solid book-ends in Freeney and Mathis holding down the defensive end spots. The staff is going to need to find ways to get him on the field more, and he's going to need to start working harder and not doing dumb stuff like making the news for all the wrong reasons.


Nobody brought up Polian except you. I never once said Polian was a God, but I really do think he's one of the premier general managers in the game, and his success and what he has brought this franchise can't be overlooked.

I brought him up for the simple fact that you just said.. Colt fans think hes one of the great GMs, when he hasn't did shit since like 2004. Hasn't even hit on a 1st round pick. Only thing thats keeping him tied to the franchise was him drafting Manning.
