ESPN.com - Eagles DE Jason Babin said Thursday he has been fined $15,000 by the NFL for a hit on 49ers QB Alex Smith and voiced his displeasure with the penalty.

Babin told reporters in Philadelphia that he was fined because he hit Smith in the neck area with his helmet. Earlier Thursday, he took a shot at the NFL with a pointed post on his Twitter page.
