Another poll before the inductees are revealed tomorrow -- should Jack Morris be in the Hall of Fame? I believe this is his final year of eligibility on the ballot.
Morris (254 wins, 3.90 ERA) has been making a slow but steady climb toward the Hall of Fame, but this is his 15th and final chance at getting voted in by the writers. He received 67.7 percent of the vote last year and 66.7 percent the year before. He’ll learn if he received the required 75 percent this year on Wednesday. Eight players have gotten into Cooperstown after 10 or more years on the ballot since 1962, when baseball ended eligibility after 15 years
