Multiple teams already have had preliminary discussions with St. Louis about the possibility of trading for the Rams' second overall pick, according to league sources.

The Rams are willing to deal the pick for the right package, according to one source, and the chances are that St. Louis will wind up trading down.

The target at the No. 2 spot is likely Heisman Trophy-winning Baylor quarterback Robert Griffin III.

A handful of teams are expected to be in the market to draft a quarterback -- the Cleveland Browns, Washington Redskins, Miami Dolphins and Seattle Seahawks -- and any trade talks with the Rams are likely to accelerate once the free-agent quarterback market plays out and teams still have a need at the position.

I hope Cleveland trades up to get RGIII

I think Seattle will be the team to trade up. IDK, gut feeling.

Jake is a pretty mediocre name, I'm sorry.

Change that shit, if you need suggestions I've got a lot.

If we don't get Manning, I'd love for us to trade up and take RG3.

Was reading the Skins board at Pro Sports Daily

Washington will offer their 1st, 2nd, and 3rd this year, plus next years 1st to move to #2 and get RGIII

So yeah, they have the best pkg, since I doubt Cleveland trades that much

I think the Redskins will trade up. They are known for doing drastic things to improve the team, anyone remember when they traded Champ Bailey for Clinton Portis?

Do it Skins! This will make my day.

The 2 first rounders I can understand, and maybe the 3rd rd pick to sweeten the deal, but a 2nd rounder along with all of that is getting whacko. But hey, I guess they're desperate enough to do it.

UPDATE: Jim Thomas of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch pegs the Washington Redskins as the early front-runner to acquire the No. 2 overall pick so they can draft RG3 "in large part because of the good relationship between team executives (Washington's Bruce Allen and Demoff) and coaches (Jeff Fisher and Washington's Mike Shanahan)."

If I were the Browns, I would do whatever it takes to get RG3. They can make the best package for the pick and they havent had a franchise QB in such a long time.
