How Can We Improve SI?

Is there anyway to add a feature where we can automatically go to the last page of threads on mobile? Or is there a way to do it and I'm just an idiot? I probably am on mobile 90% of the time and it's incredibly irritating when I click on a thread that has like 40 pages and it brings me to the first page in the thread or the 20th page or something like that. Have to click through all those pages to get to the last, and I'm sure I'm not the only person who isn't going to do that and it probably has something to do with activity, even if just a little.

Here's an example of another forum that has something like this. If you click on the one arrow it would bring you to the 2nd page, double arrows brings you to the 94th page.

if you want to skip all of the old pages and go right to the newest, just mark the forum as read.

and on mobile all you need to do is click the blue icon and then click on the forum you want to enter. one button would be a lot easier to use but ive been doing this for a while now

On the new content page on mobile just click the time of last post takes you to the last one

This is minor but you can probably get rid of the MLB Prospect Corner forum and just combine it with General Discussion. It gets no activity

An SI podcast once a week with hot topics of the week in sports, member bios, news events, movie reviews, and music.

Then it could be uploaded on the site in an easy location for members to access it. Every once in a while have a new guest on the podcast.

That's something I've always wanted to do actually. Either a podcast or a google hangout or something along those lines once a week or bi-weekly.

We used to do it in the past a very long time ago. But if we have 2 committed members who are willing to do it, I think it would have great reception and build a little following.

Well at first yea. But after some hard work, dedication, and a dozen or so episodes, we could expand that audience to 23 people!

id imagine a good talk may actually bring in members of it was posted on other podcast websites.

I mean it doesnt have to necessarily be with the mindset of membership expansion. It should be with the goal of creating good content which the current members will be able to listen to and enjoy. Like pugz said if promoted it might attract new members.

It could also be seasonal catering to each members' area of expertise. Basketball have CC and cheato, baseball have GMF bosox and teagz, and so on.
