Help making sigs

I've never made a sig in my life, but they really intrigue me. I know most of you make yours with photoshop, but is it possible to make just as good a sig using GIMP.

If so, please post suggestions about making them.

I have both but I use GIMP more but thats probably because I have had it for 2 years and I have only had PS for a month.

You can make equally good sigs with GIMP, just find some tutorials there are a lot of them. Here are some places with GIMP tutorials.

Yeah GIMP is just as good, I used it for most of my GFX career and I didn't think it was bad at all, the only real difference is hat PS has some filters that GIMP doesn't.

GIMP is harder to learn than Photoshop.
