Today is the day, Junior is hanging up the cleats for good. This completely came out of nowhere.
Easily first.People tend to forget he's belted 630 homers over his 22-year career, 5th all-time. Hadn't it been for the injuries, it's hard to even fathom where he would have ended up.
yupA little to late IMO. Should have done it before the season started. But congratulations to him and his great career.
Probably would have been the greatest hitter everThis should be the story of the night even though it won't be. I'll go ahead and say if he stayed healthy his entire career he would be a top 5 player of all-time.
You could make a case for best player of all time. He had all the tools.Probably would have been the greatest hitter ever
