This week's Giants-Steelers game, which marks the 75th meeting in a series that dates back 75 years, could be a preview of Super Bowl XLIII. And with Pittsburgh's top-ranked NFL defense taking on a Giants offense that ranks second in the league, there are certainly a number of critical matchups in this game.

Of course, both Eli Manning and Ben Roethlisberger were first-round draft picks in 2004, and both have led their teams to a Super Bowl victory. They have faced off against each other once before, in 2004, with the Steelers winning, 33-30, in a game that featured seven lead changes. Manning threw for 2 TDs in that game, Roethlisberger one.

Here's the Situational Breakdown from GMF:

Offense:
Passing - Giants - Rank 12 vs Steelers - Rank 21.
Sacks Allowed: Giants = 6; Steelers = 19
Run - Giants - Rank #1 (169 ypg) Steelers - Rank 18 (109 ypg)

Defense:
Pass - Giants - Rank 11 (190 ypg); Steelers - Rank 1 (158 ypg)
Run - Giants - Rank 5 (84.5 ypg); Steelers - Rank 2 (69.7 ypg)
Sacks - Giants - Rank 2 (21) ; Steelers - Rank 1 (25)

Tough to call, with the common stats. Although the Steelers are ranked 1st in sacks, The Giants have only allowed 6 sacks. While the Giants are Ranked 2nd in sacks (tied with Phili), the Steelers have allowed 19 sacks.

I believe the pass rush will be the big thing to watch. Whoever gets to the quarterback, wins the game.

In order to win we're going to have to disrupt everything Roethlisberger does. Im expecting Tuck to give them a fit.

We're also going to have to have big games from Jacobs, Ward and Bradshaw.

I cant wait for this game lol
