The Nets plan on signing Gerald Green on Monday.

Green, who was a first round pick of the Celtics in 2005, has been playing in the D-League for the D-Fenders.

Green is averaging 22.8 points and 5.5 rebounds per 36 minutes in 22 games this season.

Hah, I remember on NBA 2K getting a team of sick dunkers and signing free agents Gerald Green, James White & Fred Jones.

Needless to say my team sucked.

Wonder why this kid doesn't translate whatsoever in the NBA lol. Always seems to tear it up in the NBADL.

He doesn't have a game outside of dunking. He strictly relies on his athleticism and it doesn't work in the NBA.

He has nine fingers. Yet, he might be better than Damion James/Larry Owens/Andre Emmett/Shawne Williams.

I remember how thrilled I was when we drafted him.

And then when he won the Dunk Contest for us

Gerald <3.
Great guy, terrible basketball player
