For the 3rd different time in his career, linebacker Jeremiah Trotter has been signed by the Philadelphia Eagles.
In an effort to bolster their defense, the Eagles signed Trotter to a 1-year veterans minimum. Trotter initially played for the Eagles from 1998-2001. After being released by the Washington Redskins in 2003, Trotter returned to Philly for 3 more seasons. Trotter played 3 games with the Buccaneers last season and was not re-signed.
In order to make room for Trotter, the team has released quarterback Jeff Garcia. -AE
