Durant deserved ROTY for sure, Horford was good, but Durant had a GREAT rookie season.
Agreed, just think about how bad Seattle would be without Durant lol. Atlanta wouldn't be that bad off without Horford..

Shouldn't they at least base it on how a rookie affects his team? There's no way the Hawks could have made the playoffs without Al Horford on their team. Plus, a rookie is supposed to make his team better, not worse. The Hawks went from 30-52 to 37-45 which is a considerable improvement along with making the playoffs. The Sonics went from 31-51 to 20-62, which is a difference of -11 wins on their record. A rookie should at least make an improvement on his team.
Kind of late, but that point is a very weak one to argue...
The Sonics last season had Ray Allen and Rashard Lewis, plus no supporting cast. They got rid of BOTH and only really got Durant and Green in return. I'm surprised they even won 17 games this season.

Horford is the only rookie that got all 58 votes onto the All-Rookie team. Durant got 57 votes. I'd like to see that one person's All-Rookie team. Who wouldn't put Durant on their All-Rookie team?

BTW, Durant deserves the ROY.
