The SEC is going to try a new rule where if no one is on base then the pitcher has 20 seconds to throw a pitch. If he doesnt, a ball is called. If the batter takes more than 5 seconds outside the box, a strike is called. Should baseball adopt this rule? Or its fine how it is?

Keep the rules the way it is. Players wouldnt like the rule. I play baseball and I like to take a few seconds out of the batters box every once in a while so I would hate this rule.

Na if they tried to change anything up it would just mess with things too much. Leave it, just tell the players to try and hurry up so baseball isn't such a bore-fest.

Now College Football, another story, 4 hour long games are just dumb.

I think they should keep it the way it is, maybe a little bit faster. If you notice the Yankees, Mets, and Red Sox play some of the longest baseball games in the league and I believe the Twins are the fastest team. I think one way to make it faster is by making outs a little faster. After an out the ball should be back to the pitcher right away to continue the inning as opposed to tossing it around for a while.

No, they do not need to be shortened. 3 hours is normal for pretty much every professional sport, no need to hurry players and screw them up.

People just need to be patient with how the game of baseball goes.

The games definitely need to be shortened.. Players need to be limited on how many times they can step out of the batters box, how many times a catcher can go out to the mound, etc.. Games are too long.

Keep it the same. 20 and 5 seconds is way to quick. Games aren't even that long.
